Vol. 1: Am I Real? Sheldon

If I had known how long this would take me, I might not have started... Ahh, well, it's good that I didn't know then.

This is how Sheldon looks in the first book. As you can see, he's not as muscled, and he looks cleaner and more alert. That's mostly 'cause his illness hasn't progressed as far. You can see by his eyes; they're not shadowed, and they're more in-your-face-here-I-am. Not to mention his skin has more colour in it. And as for the muscles, he hasn't started working out yet.

I have a feeling I didn't tell you about Sheldon's powers so here's what they are:

Super Strength (thus letting able to propel himself faster and having super speed be a derivative of this power)
Telekinesis (thus making him able to fly)

And that's all I can tell you without spoiling anything.

But I'm pleased with how this picture turned out. Since Sheldon's not obsessed with the colour green right now, I had more liberty with the colours, and I tried to give the clothes personality by adding different designs and textures. I noticed does that, and their work is extremely good.

So anyway, the hair and eyes are my favourite, I think, though I had fun stretching the text and designing interesting clothes for him. The different pics of him here basically represent what his face tends to do when he's thinking, feeling, or saying what the text is saying, obviously, and I attempted to warp the text to convey the emotion behind it.

I tried to be have this hairdo be ever so slightly similar to the wild thing he has on his head now. But... you can't really. Then again maybe JUST JUST barely...

And yes. Sheldon does blow raspberries at people, and he still does.

If I had to sum up an eight year-old Sheldon in a short description he would be, to me, "a bizarre, mischievous, insubordinate little imp with a pure heart, wit, and a lot of courage."
